We booked this cruise through Disney while on the Magic. I had no idea that it was the same one as the Passporter Dream Cruise. I am a big Disney fan--was a peer reviewer on Open Mouse. In addition, we spend much of each winter at Ft. Wilderness. I hope I get to meet a lot of fellow Passporter readers. Jean M.
We are now Passporter Dream Pass Holders. My wife and I will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary on April 28 on this, our first cruise. Interestingly, we booked Stateroom 7558 which a prior poster said they were going to be in. Maybe they cancelled??
I was wondering how the cruise cabins were being assigned. Do we have a block of cabins, or are we being scattered around the ship in available cabins?
I see a previous poster is on deck seven - we're on deck six, and find that our cabin is directly over the Oceaneer's Club. Should we be worrying about noise?
There's a "block" of rooms, but that doesn't mean the rooms are together as a unit - there's a mix of rooms in a variety of categories.
I've never heard a noise complaint regarding folks being above the kids clubs. In general, they're not noisy places, especially in the evenings.

That was us - we had to cancel because of my new job. Thankfully, we have booked 11 nights at OKW at WDW May 4-16 (after classes let out for the summer at the college at which I now work) to compensate for our sadness! We were in 7058 in 2005 and loved it. We just wanted to be on the side to see Castaway Cay when we docked there, which is why we requested 7558. You'll love it! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding anniversary. In today's society, 30 years is REMARKABLE!

I have a cat. 12 GTY, so I won't know my cabin number till about a month out. This is my first cruise without a balcony, so I'm trying hard to see it as "the whole ship is my balcony."

We are going and cannot wait. This is our first Disney Cruise. Can't wait to see everyone there. I should get a passporter t-shirt made up....haha.
I too had no idea that this was a passporter cruise. Actually we booked the cruise before I found out about passporter. I hope to still be included in some meets. So many wonderful people Ive met on these boards.

This is my first Disney cruise and I was wondering, with this being the Decade of Dreams cruise, should we still schedule our excursions on our own, or will the PassPorter planned excursions be the same -- just as a group?
