I am staying at the Hyatt MCO the night before. Our flight arrives around 12noon. I do have one question thou, since I am arriving the day before the cruise and staying at the Hyatt MCO and I have Disney transfers booked for the next day and the day we get back from the cruise, do I fill out the flight information on the cruise website?

Since I think the time is fast approaching to start to make reservations for shore excursions and stuff (I think... no paperwork yet) I was wondering if the rest of you passporters have any idea about what shore excursions you're planning? Since I've never been on any kind of cruise before, I'm not sure what I'm doing, but I'd like to stick with the group as much as possible. I know the original post said "optional shore excursions led by Jennifer and Dave to the best spots", but I don't know if that infomation is out there yet? Who's knows whats the best things to do?

Nothing from Jennifer and Dave yet. I am thinking of doing the historical walking tour on St. Thomas and then doing the skyride. I am interested in the walking tour due to you see Blackbeards Castle, which is a tower he used as a lookout. When I lived in Pa not to far from Philly, I lived real close to a house Blackbeard used to live in, so I kinda have an interest in him. I loved the house he lived in while in Pa, would have loved to live in it.

Peggy and I also think the Parasailing on Castaway Key looks like fun.

Planning things as a group sounds like a great idea too.

I really want to go on the Baths tour in Tortola. Other than that I really have no idea. Guess I really should look at the excursions. Feel free to join me and my DH!

I read in one of the threads that Dave and Jennifer are going to have some Passporter group tour on Tortola I thought. I have been kinda waiting to see what they are planning, but I guess I really should look at the excursions there just in case.

I read that also, I figure I can always cancel, but I don't want to be shut out completely. We are also looking at Magens Bay or Trunk Bay Beach as my DH loves walking on the beach while I on the other hand love laying out on the beach and soaking up the rays.

I just finished reading the excursions, the bath one does look interesting. Jost Van Dyke beach day looks good too. As well as the tour to Virgin Gorda.

I just read about Jost Van Dyke beach and your right it does sound interesting. It is also the only excursion that includes lunch and beverages. The Painkiller sounds interesting as well. I love the idea of not being able to dock and having to jump in the water to get to the beach!

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty cool idea too. I may do this one, I was wanting to do a day at the beach to just relax. I am thinking Tortola may be the place. But then again, if I parasail on Castaway Cay, it won't take the whole day, so I could do the relaxing there. I wish I knew what Jennifer and Dave have planned lol.

So do I. Relaxing on the beach is right up my alley and a FAB with the name of Painkiller is to be tried. I went online and was looking at White Bay Beach and it looks amazing.

There are just too many excursions to pick from. Decisions, decisions, decisioins. They all sound good. As far as Tortola goes, I of course love the sound of the dolphin excursions, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are all booked. All the others also look like they'd be a lot of fun.
I definitely want to do the parasailing at CC.
Need to go back and look at the St. Thomas ones. But the 2 that Janine has alredy mentioned sound pretty good.

Unhappy

wow, i stayed up waiting for the reservation window and i keep getting ERRORS on the disney site! AAAAHH! im so frustrated. my husband and i were able to prebook our palo and excursions due to the romance pkg but im unable to reserve for my father and kids because of these errors and of course it isnt business hours so i cant talk to a person. i pray they dont get booked up before i have a chance to add them to our excursion. that would be aweful. "hey kids, watch how much fun your dad and i are having!" LOL!

Talking

Yippy Skippy!!! I got in! I was finally able to add my girls to our excursion! so we're ALL swimming with the Dolphins (Dolphin Swim Adventure) in Tortola!

For those of you who are considering the dolphins be sure to check the info. the Dolphin SWIM adventure is the only one where you actually get to swim with them for 30min. the other ones youre only waist deep where you only pet them. But now that i think about it, those other ones are already booked. The swim adventure is the only one available as of the last time i checked. so if youre a dolphin lover like we are, you better hurry! Its booking fast!

Wahoooooo! we're swimming with the dolphins, im SOOOO excited!
