Congratulations, Jennifer! How exciting! You're going to love a Disney cruise, and it'll be even better because you'll have friends all around you.

Wow, it's already time to start of list of who's going on the Decade of Dreams! I have to put some thought the best way to do that.

Thank you to all who've responded and are considering cruising with us! I love your enthusiasm, and I'm just so DARN EXCITED about this cruise and the whole Decade of Dreams!! It's going to be a blast!

I just realized i posted my cruise info in the wrong forum...D'oh! LOL! recap...

For years I have been reading Passporters guides (im one of those people who can never go on vacations so i buy tour books and pretend). I would Ooo and Aahh over all the exciting adventures to be had and I never thought the day would come. I sat my husband down and explained to him, "our kids are in High School now, how many years do we really have? pretty soon they'll be off to college and a cruise with mommy and daddy just wont be the same" And since we never got to have a honeymoon, and it falls right around our 15th anniversary, i explained as a perk we could finally get our honeymoon. well, I guess I got through to him because tomorrow morning we put our deposit down! We had a cruise all picked out for the 9th and the really bizarre thing is I just joined the passporters club like last week. If I didnt I would have never heard about this cruise in time! *twilight zone music here* What a dream come true to not only take our family Disney cruise but to go with the writers of whom i have admired for years! It will be Joel (my husband) and I, my father (bob) and our daughters Paige (will be 16) and Amber (will be 15). I have even nearly convinced my husbands family, some of my family and friends to come along. I'm hoping there will be some other teens on board. My kids are at that age where their peers are everything. If anyone happens to be bringing any teens, please let me know And on a side note... Thanks Jen and Dave for going above and beyond by creating these books that not only enable us to dream but to be prepared also, if there are other scrap enthusiasts, wouldnt it be great to organize some sort of Disney scrapbook meet?

Fellow Dreamer, Serena

Serena, that is really, really cool! Our 10th, your 15th! There are going to be a lot of cakes on that cruise!

Our community of readers is something that sets PassPorter apart from most guidebooks, and if so many folks like you didn't exist, we would never have though a celebration like this could be possible. Most publishers would have held a party for the press and "the trade" at the big book convention, modified their ads and books to mention the anniversary, sent out a press release, and called it a "gala celebration." In our case, we couldn't imagine a celebration without sharing it with all of you, and your wonderful response to our announcement has already far exceeded anything we imagined! ::: getting verklempt :::

Thanks, and I look forward to hoisting a toast or two in 2009!
