If you prefer to stay at another Disney Resort, just let us know when you send in the quote and we can check on availability for you. We know that everyone has a favorite resort for many reasons and we will do our best to accomodate your request.
Yes, there will be activities everyone can be a part of.

YES! YES! YES! I really wanted to go but wanted the dining package. So I have to book separatly. I have already told the girls we are going. I get to celebrate my DD10's birthday down there!
I'm like you BethC, I want to add the dining plan as well as parkhoppers so that's why I'm balking at doing the room-only. Glad there'll be things others can do as well if they decide to book on their own.
I've proposed to some of my friends on here (who are also single moms, but some aren't) about doing a moms-only trip.....so I'd like to put that out there for other moms who are contemplating going solo without the kids. Since we're <Lord Willing> going for MouseFest in December I wouldn't want to pull the kids out for another week just five months later. DS would want to in a heartbeat but not my high schooler!
Just a little comment regarding the Dining Plan and the Decade of Dreams trip. We are planning several fun group meals, with which you would not be able to use the Disney Dining Plan. Just want to make that known in advance.
