I'm actually hoping to be a CM (on the College Program) next May, so I'll definitely have to see if I can arrange my schedule to join in as much as possible! Without the CP, there's still a good chance I could be there...

That's so neat! It would be so great if you can attend some of the meets and whatnot!

Just about! I'm positive that there will be a trip to the Adventurer's Club somewhere along the way but that is the only thing I can think of where kids might not be appropriate. And kids are allowed at the Adventurer's Club, but some of the humor is a bit risque so you don't usually see them.

I haven't priced this in several years, and during that time the admission structure and rates also changed.

These parties include a minimum amount of food and beverage per person and per party. If I remember rightly, that hovered somewhere in the $60/person range for a basic buffet by the time wefactored in tax and mandatory gratuity. The price went even higher for more ambitious spreads. I suspect that by now it will be higher still.

We will price this if there's enough interest. If not, we'll just pay for regular AC admission and have a normal meet.

We got a quote and have also priced separately all of the stuff we can get through the military . . . looks like it is WAY cheaper for us to stay at Shades of Green and buy our tickets through the military than to go with the package.

BUT . . . I am pretty sure I have gotten the go ahead from DH, so we'll be booking later on (probably closer to summer) and we'll try to make as many "outside of the package, but appropriate for kids" things that we can!

I was there for that Mousefest private party at Adventurer's Club and I remember it as being a lot of fun! The characters are always interactive with the audience, but they seemed to be more-so (if that's possible) during the private party. We had a character I'd never seen before and she was a hoot! And I shall never forget Dave dirty dancing for Babylonia.... I think they had a nice little buffet for us as well, and beer and wine (I don't recall cocktails). If it's possible for the Dreams Tour to swing it, it would definitely be a cool thing to do!! But even just a regular night out at AC is always a great time!!

That WAS a great party! I recall we had a specially-made cake, too! The special character we saw was the Gypsy -- the private party is the only time we've ever seen her (and we go there on every trip at least once).

Oh Ann, you're not the only one! The whole day last Thursday when I first saw the info, I was so upset and tearful. It wasn't until Jennifer gave us the password that I realized it was next year!
That's when it hit me--I'm going no matter what!

Now it's so much more special for me because Cheryl and I are rooming together!! These boards just bring us all together and I am so thankful for finding them!

I don't know about the AC. I've never been, but it'd have to be pretty inexpensive for me to go, private party or not. Plus, I'm a bit shy...........
