Just a heads up to everyone that it looks like we will be in good company this evening, the president and first lady will be attending a broadway show! I believe they are going to see Joe Turner's Come and Gone. Unfortunately this means lots and lots of security and sometimes they close off blocks. Make sure to add a little extra travel time around the broadway area. See you tonight!

THanks for the tip! I was just sitting here, thinking how grateful I have a group that can get tickets to a play and organize the group meal on top of it! I can't believe the distance many people are traveling to do this!

I am really looking forward to this outing!

I was just about to turn off the computer and start getting ready!

I'm wearing a black shirt, jeans and sneakers during the day and carrying a pair of white capris and black sandals for tonight. I'll change at the ESPN Zone.

I hurt my foot a few weeks ago and although I'm feeling 100% better, I don't want to chance it by not wearing sneakers while walking all over the city!

I checked the website for the theater and there isn't a dress code, so I'm dressing comfortably. Capri's, some sort of top, and sneakers.

Well I'm off to take the train to NYC now. First the Mets game and then I'll see everyone at ESPN around 5 or a bit before. Probably 4:30ish for me. Can't wait to see everyone!

Beth and are sitting in the middle of Broadway on lawn chairs, waiting for everyone to show up at the ESPN Zone!
Broadway is closed to traffic and there are lawn chairs set up alll over the street for tourists to hang out in!
