Wendy suggests meeting at the fence facing the Castle. (That's my castle, you know.) The porch gets crowded, so meeting along the fence should be better. While most of us are gabbing, Wendy & representatives from additional tables can approach the desk with our request to take over a corner of the restaurant.

Let's all aim to be there early -- I'm planning to be there by 1:40 (30 minutes before our lunch). Try to make it there before 2:00, OK?

I think we've now got about 27 people all hoping to be seated near each other. How cool is THAT?

I've hand-printed some name tags with first names only, and I'll bring some Disney stickers you can use to decorate yours. First ones there get first dibs on the stickers! (I'm also bringing a marker & a few blank name tags, in case I've missed anybody or messed up a name.)

Now, back to my (semi-)original post:

Would any of you like to meet up for a late lunch at Crystal Palace that first day (Saturday, May 2)? I like the food there, and I absolutely love bouncing with Tigger. . . . but I would feel really odd dining there ALONE. So bring your kids or come alone -- but please say you'll come. I just won 2 free SW tickets, so I'm taking that as a sign that I'm supposed to come for PP's big celebration. But since I didn't win the LOTTERY, I'm not offering to pay for your lunch. But I'd love the chance to get to know a few PP pals over a good meal.

So let's hear some chatter out there! We'll get the "lunch" price by going at 2:10. ("Dinner" starts at 3:00.) Who's with me??? (And yes, I will be wearing my new Pirate Goofy hat.)

Say it isn't so! You MUST have a Dole Whip -- or, better yet, get a Dole Float! I know I won't have room in my tummy after our late lunch at CP, but I may get a float mid-morning. It's pineapple frozen custard in pineapple juice. It is the most refreshing (but filling) treat imaginable. I almost forgot to get one in February when I was there, but luckily remembered in time to backtrack to Adventureland to get one. I sat in the shade across from the stand (in the same spot Jennifer wants us to meet on Saturday afternoon), did some people-watching, and enjoyed every-single-sinful-spoonful. Yum! You will ADORE it!

Well maybe not, but we are talking about a Dole Whip remember. As was said in Ghostbusters, "There's always room for a Dole Whip". It was Jell-o but lets stick to this. I also have a 6 pm res at Jiko so I may have to skip the DW and have it later.
