Disney Cruise Meet Schedule

Here is our schedule of events for the Disney Cruise segment of the Decade of Dreams tour. Anyone sailing with us is welcome at any of our events, unless otherwise noted.

Decade of Dreams Disney Cruise Meet Schedule

Saturday, April 25, 2009 - Port Canaveral

10:30-Boarding Time - PassPorter's "Can't Get Started Without You" Terminal Meet
Hang out with us in the Cruise Terminal while we wait to board! We'll be at or near the end of the terminal, near the big picture window that overlooks the ship.

12:30 - PassPorter's "Blueberry Hill" Parrot Cay Lunch Meet
Enjoy your first meal aboard with us! Anyone interested in joining us for lunch please meet at the Promenade Lounge (deck 3 midship) at 12:30 pm and we'll all go down the hall and into Parrot Cay together.

4:30 - 5:15 - PassPorter's "Let's Dance" Sailaway Deck Party
Meet your fellow Dreamers, get your Decade of Dreams nametags and schedules, your first meet magnet (see notes at the bottom), and pickup your Treasure Hunt Quest sheet! Meet on deck 10, midship overlooking the Goofy Pool, port side with the view of the Space Center.

Sunday, April 26, 2009 - Day at Sea (Formal Night)

1:30 pm - PassPorter's "Sing Sing Sing" Golden Mickeys Matinee
Gather together to watch the matinee showing of the Golden Mickeys, which we expect to begin at 2:15 pm. Meet in the Preludes lounge outside of the Walt Disney Theater (deck 4 forward) before we go in to find great seats together!

5:00 pm - PassPorter's "Tuxedo Junction" Captain's Reception
Tonight is Formal Night and we'd love to see you in your finest! Let's gather together for the Captain's Reception (always a nice event and you get a free cocktail!) and get a group photo with the Captain! Meet in the Lobby Atrium (deck 3 midship) near the doors to Lumiere's.

Monday, April 27, 2009 - Day at Sea

Afternoon - PassPorter's "Pennies From Heaven" Bingo Meet
Meet us 20 minutes before the start of bingo -- check your Personal Navigator for the location and the time! Bingo card sales usually go on sale 15 minutes beforehand, so be sure to arrive early so we can meet up and get tables together. (Note: Bingo on a recent cruise was held at 3:45 pm in Rockin' Bar D, so if this is true on our cruise, you would want to be in Rockin' Bar D by 3:25 at the latest. But check your Navigator in case they move the time and place!)

Tuesday, April 28, 2009 - Tortola (Pirate Night)

7:00 - 8:00 pm - PassPorter's "Moonglow" Pirate Tales Time
Join us in Preludes to share your tales of your day in Tortola! Be sure to wear your pirate garb, too!

Wednesday, April 29, 2009 - St. Thomas

7:00 - 8:00 pm - PassPorter's "Avalon" Island Adventures Time
Join us in Preludes to share your adventures of your day in St. Thomas!

Thursday, April 30, 2009 - Day at Sea (Semi-Formal)

12:00 pm - PassPorter's "La Vie en Rose" Lunch at Lumiere's
Let's enjoy an leisurely, sit-down lunch together at Lumiere's. Meet outside in the Lobby Atrium (deck 3 midship) near the double doors into Lumiere's a few minutes beforehand.

4:00 - 5:00 pm - PassPorter's "Sittin' in the Sun" Ice Cream Social
Enjoy a yummy ice cream from Goofy's Galley with us! Meet at the outside seating area behind Topsider's on deck 9 aft. This is when we'll award the prizes for most unique meet magnets on your stateroom door (see notes about the magnets below) as well as the cruise-long treasure hunt that we passed out at the start of the cruise.

Friday, May 1, 2009 - Castaway Cay

4:45 pm - PassPorter's "Rockin' in Rhythm" Farewell Reception
Reception at Diversions (deck 3 forward) for folks booked on the Decade of Dreams Package booked through Mouse Fan Travel only.

10:00 pm - PassPorter's "Rock-a-Bye" Til We Meet Again
Join us as we watch the fun "Til We Meet Again" character send-off in the Lobby Atrium (deck 3 midship) and bid a fond farewell to one another.

Name Notes:
The meet names are based on our Big Band theme.

Meet Magnets:
We will have special door magnets to give out at each of the above meets. Each meet magnet will be different and you can proudly display them on your stateroom door! A prize will be awarded to the stateroom that has the most unique Decade of Dreams magnets by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, April 29! The prize will be awarded at the "Sittin' in the Sun" Ice Cream Social on Thursday, April 30. I may also make up special magnets to pass out at random points during the cruise, too.

Love all the ideas you guys have come up with! This whole thing has probably been more work than I can imagine. I really like the "magnet meets" I think it would be fun if everyone interested made a small magnet for the group representing their hometown or favorite Disney character. It could be a great ice breaker explaining the meaning behind your magnet. Just a thought. I can't believe the cruise is 22 days away.

Yippy Skippy! This is what Ive been waiting for! First lemme say, Just planning this vacation for our family, i have a new found respect for all the work you guys have put into this. There are only 5 of us and the amount of work and planning Ive put into this, well, i cant imagine how difficult its been to plan for an entire group of passporters. well done!

The meets sound great, Im sure we will be at many of them.

I love the meet magnet idea, i would like a little more info about these being that im not really sure what they should look like or include. In your comment you mention giving them out but also a prize to the most unique. So are we suppose to be making our own? the ones you give out are they random or first come first serve chooses type thing? is there any way you can post a couple examples of what one should look like for those wanting to create one?

Thanks for all the hard work youve put into this, Our decade of dreams tour is sure to be an unforgettable adventure!

Hi Jennifer......I just was wondering, when I booked I had no idea about Passporter but we are booked on the same cruise. I found Passporter, both the book and website, after we booked the trip straight from Disney as we are driving down. Are we still able to go to some of the meets or no??

Short answer, yes. Anything that's on this schedule is open to anyone on the ship, with the exception of the Farewell Reception.

I was planning to make ALL of the magnets -- I was not planning a prize for the most unique, no. If you wanted to make magnets and give them out, you're certainly welcome to. I recommend you get inkjet magnet paper and print a design four times up on the sheet, then cut it into four pieces. Simple and easy. Just pick a fun font and some clip art, and you're good to go.

i cant wait to see what magnets you're giving out!

we are definately attending the sailaway party, the fairwell meet & the matinee sounds right up my alley. im sure we'll attend more, just for the simple fact alone that im a collector and MUST collect as many magnets as i can get my hands on! its a disease, LOL! but these 3 are the ones you can count on us attending
