hi i noticed your picture is outside wilderness lodge wdw. we were thinking of staying there on our next and first trip to wdw,as you can understand because we live in sydney australia it is a lot furthur to travel to florida. i have been to disneyland 3 times and i am really interested in seeing the differences between the two( besides the size). it all looks a bit confusing and expensive . any information would be helpfull .kerri
Just bought tix for ST breakfast. We will all attend as many PassPorter event as you have available- just can't find the official schedule. Those attending will be me, Jane Price (older than DL), myson, Jim Myers, my 2 grandDaughter Azucena 4, Marieanna,2.
Query - the Mickey's T or T is from 7:30-11:30. Are we meeting exactly at 7:30 & then being a gaggle of guests for the entire time or meeting, showing tricks, getting treats, having the costume contest & peeling off or ??? If we're a gaggle, then we're "doing" the park in an orderly fashion (like clockwise or counter-clockwise) so any late stragglers might find the group (since I have been known to be tardy) or ?? Just wondering. I still have the extra ticket if anyone is interested in buying it.
Are people dressing up for the Trick or Treat party?
Maggie
Well, my DW and I are. I am going as Frier Tuck and she is going to be a Witch (a good one I hope, hahaha). From what I have read here you may want to stop off at The World of Disney and purchase a large trick or treat bag as the one they had out is rather small. lol.

I wish I could tell you what is going to happen but no one so far has even hinted as to what is going to take place. No matter, we're still going. lol
You betcha on the wearing costumes. Since I'll be traveling, my costume will be small, light & flat. Rather limits the level of creativity, but I figure that it's the spirit of the costume that counts. Also my sister pointed out that some costumes may not be conducive to riding on attractions easily. Hmm, good point. Nix on the Ursula idea?!? Hehehe.
Still have a extra ticket to the Trick or Treat - on sale for a great deal.... yours for $25 a savings of $7. Send me a PM if you are interested.
Location: Just outside Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Halloween party????
Hi my sister and I have tickets for the trick or treat party. As we are from Australia can someone give us some little tips on whether we dress up or do we purchas a bag. Is it for children only or do adults join in.?We wanted to experience Halloween in Disneyland and am so excited. Love all the colours and decorations. Any advice would be great!: can't wait to see some of you over the weekend at Disneyland! Maree

Costumes are not required nor are 'trick or treat' bags (they will hand out smaller ones [while supply lasts]), you can purchase larger ones at The World of Disney in the DTD district. And yes, it is for kids only, of ALL ages (1 month to 100 years, Hahaha).
Persons 12 and under may wear costumes in the parks during Halloween season. 9 and under in parks the rest of the year. During the ToT party that is pay to enter at DCA all guest may wear a costume. There are exceptions based on regular rules and special costume rules. Costumes should not be a hazard to other guests, should not drag on the ground, and should not have stuff that could hurt guests like spikes.
I am going to try to go to all the events but no promise as my last trip wore me out and financially broke me literally.
You can look up online or locally for job related business. Buy a chef or nursing outfit for example. There are sites that sell priest robes and firemen related items. Check thrift stores for items.
Neurovariant, outcast, shunned but I have Disney Magic to keep me going. I need a new home but there is no room in the inn but there is always room in the castle. See you at DLR or Pogo. 10-24 is my birthday and I will be alone again but this time I will have CMs to keep me company.

Our Disneyland adventure is drawing near! Here are answers to the questions posted in this thread:

How will we be able to identify any of you from PassPorter if we haven't met before?
We will meet in pre-designated places for each of our three meets. When you arrive at the designated place, look for a group of people. Barring that, look for me and Alexander (see my signature image). I also tend to wear PassPorter shirts and a PassPorter pouch around my neck, and that might help you spot me, too!

We will meet BEFORE the party begins, outside of the park, to make it easier to meet each other without the distraction of the festivities. We will meet at the Picnic Area, located left of the entrance to Disneyland. Here is a map: Here are photos of the Picnic Area.
I will be at the picnic area by 6:30 pm on Friday and I encourage everyone to arrive by 7:00 pm at the very latest. Then we will walk over as a group to the DCA ticket gates for the party! We'll then head into the park together and start visiting attractions. At this point, you can stay with us and do things as we do them, or you can split off and do your own thing. Whichever you decide to do is fine. If you stay with me, keep in mind that I will have Alexander in tow, so we won't be doing anything "scary." Most likely, we'll be focusing on the Halloween-specific activities, such as hitting as many treat stops as we can (there are 25!), checking out the Hollywood Bat-Lot Bash, and visiting the Pirate's Wharf (Pacific Wharf with entertainment and crafts).
We'll plan to meet together again for the Character Cavalcade parade in Paradise Pier at approximately 10:00 pm (the parade is expected to begin at 10:30 pm). That will give us a chance to find one another and socialize. Anyone who is late to the party is welcome to call my cell phone (I will send the number in a private message next week to anyone who indicated in this thread that they are coming) or simply meet up with us at 10:00 pm. Let's meet near the Golden Zephyr at 10:00 pm, but we may move slightly if construction or parade routes force us, so you may want to look around if you don't see anyone there.

I sure hope so, because I need to chose a costume winner! Adults and kids alike can dress up. If you are interested in our little costume contest, you'll want to meet with us before the party (so I can get a proper look at your costume) and then again for the Character Cavalcade parade (to give me time to see all costumes and pick a winner). I will award the prize for the best costume after the parade!

You may wear a costume if you wish, but it is not required. Adults may join in, yes! I don't personally see the need to buy or bring my own bag. I'm sure the bags Disney provides are big enough to hold the loot.

Jennifer, I am not sure we can make it to the front gate of DCA, to meet you all, by 7pm, as we are having my 65th Birthday dinner at 6:00pm at Storytellers. We then intend to enter DCA via the DGC gate. Hopefully we will be done eating in time but if not, we will try to locate you all later. I should be easy to spot, I should be the only FRIER TUCK that is riding on a red 3-wheel ECV. LOL. I will 'bless' anyone who comes up to us and greets us. LOL. My DW will be 'dolled' up as a WITCH so be ware, am not sure if she will be a good witch or a bad witch. You all have been warned. LOL
The picnic area is a super place to meet prior to the Trick or Treat. FYI - on Sept. 12th, I tried to access it from "inside" near the restrooms and the gate was shut. Had to hoof it out the security screening exit and then circle around. Meant going through security again to get back into the parks. Might not be closed, one can hope!
This is going to be so much fun for me to compare Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom to this one. In May, at the Decade of Dreams in WDW, I met SkateyCat. We're going to MNSSHP on the 13th. Wow, that's a whole lotta candy in just a few days. Yum.

That gate has been closed now for a very long time. Prevents guests from going around the security area.
