A little confusion...

Hello everyone!

I wanted to check the Extra Magic Hours for when I'm at WDW and I became confused... Are the times posted on the Disney website including extra magic hours or not? For example, AK shows extra magic hours at night, but the time on the calendar says 6:00. For MK or MGM the time says 10 pm and extra magic hours for those evenings as well. Will MGM/MK be open til midnight or 10? Will AK be open til 8 or 6?

Any answere will be appreciated!

Thank you!

Re: A little confusion...

There's a link at the bottom of that info to the Extra Magic Hours schedule and you can cross-reference it that way.

If the regular hours (which are listed on the calendar) say that the MK opens at 9AM, but the MK has EMH morning, then the park opens to resort guests for EMH hour at 8AM.

In the evening, the "regular" closing time is listed on the calendar and you have to add 3 hours to that to know how long EMH evenings last.

Good luck!

Re: A little confusion...

Good question, I had the same one. It says on their site that EMH at Epcot (for the day in April i was looking at) but the park closing is still 9:00......So what exactly does that mean, exactly/??

Re: A little confusion...

That means that the park closes to off site guests at 9 pm, but resort guests can get a wristband and stay in the park till midnight.

Re: A little confusion...

On the Calendar on the Disney Website, the operating hours posted are the general hours that the parks are open. Those times do NOT include Extra Magic Hours.
