Question special buttons

I know that you can get birthday buttons, but I thought I read somewhere that you can get "my first trip" buttons too. I would love to get one for DM when we go Also, can you get them at the resorts or do I have to wait for a park?

we're getting the buttons at the resort at check in, according to the person we spoke to on the phone...

as for first trip - I'm not sure, we mentioned it was my brother's first trip to any Disney park (first vacation too) and she said she was going to put a note on the reservation that he would get some special 'newbie' stuff... so who knows what that means lol

You can get them at your resort or at the parks. The resorts tend to run out of them faster though.

The buttons are great! I saw tons of people wearing them and I got one for my birthday on 3/6. I think I was told "happy Birthday, Jennifer" by @ least 150 CM's and guests as well! Very worth finding! BTW got mine @ city hall @ MK.

I saw lots of people wearing "My 1st trip" buttons last week. I think you can get them anywhere. They even have them to give out at World of Disney.

The "My First Trip" buttons must be fairly new... I saw them for the first time on my trip to DLR in February. They are really neat, though. And I was suprised at how many more mature people I saw wearing them, men in their 60's and such. It was great!

I got my birthday button from Jiko at dinner on the first night of our stay. My birthday wasn't for a few days but I put it on my purse and wore it there until my actual birthday and then put it on my tshirt. Tons of people wished me a happy birthday and it was very cool.

You can sort of see the 1st visit in this photo of DD. I was going to scan the button, only I think she hid it because she is afraid of it ending up in a scrapbook.
