They will give you a pick-up time, I believe its 3 hours prior to flight time. So you'll be sitting in the lobby ready for DME at 2 pm....I always feel it's too early.
Actually its not as early as it sounds, as usually the bus has to stop at other resorts, get to the airport, unload all the luggage and then you have to get through security. Security at MCO can be really backed-up sometimes. I would much rather be early and not have to break my neck to get to my gate.

It can be a little frustrating, but they do pickyou up early. But it's a nice, relaxing way to end your trip, sitting in a fancy bus, comfortable seat, and door to door to MCO.

We thought that 3 hours was way too early. Then we saw the lines at airport security. And the shuttle to the gate. We waited a bit to board (not an hour, though), but it was much better than rushing, and stressing!!!
3 hours may seem a little early but like everyone else said, I'd rather be a little early than trying to rush to the gate. Because of this, I try not to schedule really early flights. I had an 8AM flight once and they picked us up at 5:30. We had to get up and check out in the middle of the night. Now I schedule flights for around noon. That way we can get up, have breakfast and checkout without rushing or getting up at 4AM.
3 hours is ok by me. We leave in the evening anyways, so it gives us time to not feel hurried. Plus, flying SWA as we do, it helps us be near the front of the line.
Thanks, so if my flight leaves at 9:35p ME will pick me up around 6ish?

I haven't used DME, yet, but I appreciate them getting me there in enough time! We always get there at least 2 hours prior... my mom always gets searched lol apparently my 61 year old mom looks like an Afgahni terrorist
The day before you leave, you will find a DME envelope slipped under your door with all of the information about when and where to meet the bus. Also, depending on which airline you're flying, you can check your bags right at your resort and not see them again until your final destination - and you'll even get your boarding passes! This saved us a lot of time standing in long lines at the airport!
Thanks for all the info. I had always figured three hours was a good time. If you get there with plenty of time you can stop by pick up any last minute things at the airport stores or even have a relaxing meal before boarding.
