I just booked my car online through "Alamo Rent A Car is one of the largest value oriented rental car companies offering lowest rate guarantee for leisure vacation car rental deals, business rentals and discounted weekly specials in over 1000 locations including Orlando, Miami, Florida and my girlfriend did the same. She used a AAA discount that she had so that saved her a little bit of $. I went online and found an Alamo discount code 7013688 and typed that in and it saved me $31.00 which was more than the AAA discount. My friend ended up using my code to save more $.

If you're a member of BJ's wholesale club, you get a discount there as well. I know I booked my mom a car from Alamo (granted it was a year ago) and between our BJ's discount and the BJ's coupon they sent, mom had a convertible for a week for about $170 - I think it ended up being like 50% off.

I thought I had a great deal with Alamo as well til we actually rented the car. Be very careful of the kiosk, use the desk instead. The kiosk puts the insurance on it and you can't get it off. Just had to go through a dispute with Alamo to have it removed. I for one will not use them again.
