We will be at Disney the week of Oct 15 - 22. We are planning on seeing Fantasmic on a Monday night. Do you think we really need to do the Fantasmic dinner package? We would do Mama Melrose if we did. I just have all of my TS cresdits planned for already. We will have a three and five year old. I wanted to know if you thought the crowds would really be that bad. We already have planned for that day Akershus Princess breakfast and Le Celler for a late/ early dinner and then the Fantasmic show. I can move my show to Sunday and do the dinner if you all think that is better . Sunday is our no park rest day and DTD day. We could still do the show at night. I just need to know if it is really better to do the show with the package. Also, is the Princess Akershus breakfast great? We are doing CRT one day for lunch too. If we get to Toon town to see the princesses should we still do the Akershus breakfast? My girls love all of the princesses... so I was trying to get in as much princess stuff as possible. I'm just using up all of my TS credits pertty fast. I would also like opinions on the 1900 Park Fare breakfast too. I may have to cut one of these breakfasts to fit in the dinner package for Fantasmic. So I need to know which one would be okay to cut. Thanks so much for any input.
It's not a peak season, but you should still get to the theater 30-60 minutes ahead of time. If you'd rather not wait that long in the theater (restless kids, etc), get the FDP.
There really isn't a bad view in the amphitheater.
That time of year I think you'd be fine without it. The end of August we went about 45 minutes ahead of show time, grabbed a seat and a drink, and relaxed for a little while before the show started. Now in July it's a different story.
I couldn't help but laugh as I read your question. EVERYTIME I make a Fantasmic Package reservation the show gets rained out!!! If I ever make another package reservation for that show I'll make sure and post it so ya'll can avoid that date

So what month are you guys talking about here? It's not October is it?
Maybe I won't do the package if it rains in Oct!
LOL - I think the weather man has it out for me in particular!!! But don't let my soggy luck deter you. Go ahead, do the package. Worst comes to worst, it rains out. And if that day comes around and you just don't want to do it, then cancel. It doesn't cost anything to cancel and I have always found another TS to pick up if I cancelled.

It shouldn't be that crowded in October that Fantasmic would get filled, so getting there 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time should still snag a seat. You probably won't get a seat on the front row, but the evenings in October can get a little chilly and the mist coming off the water can make the first few rows somewhat uncomfortable. And I agree that there really isn't a bad seat in the amphitheater.
