Question Digital Pictures...In the parks??

is there any way to upload your pictures while you are on site at Disney> My new camera holds 700+ photos so i am set but my sister isnt as fortunate...we planned on using the laptop but it dont work anymore and she would rather by another memory card then go off site to upload her pics. All she is wanting to do is move them to a CD and off her memory card so she doesnt have to buy another one. She asked me about it last night, and i remembered talks about having like the Kodak stations in wal*mart but in the parks...so i figured since we have a week before we leave it was enough time to spring the question on you guys!!!

what I would if I was her, just buy another memory card and upload them when you get home, at walmart or cvs, whereever, using disney onsite is pretty pricey.
I cant recall how much though. but not worth it to me.

I do recall all the parks having a place that will do just that for you. (I think it costs around $10, but not sure~) As far as costs though, with memory cards being so cheap now I'm not sure how much you're saving by doing that rather than just buying another memory card. I even have a rather quirky friend who keeps all of her Disney photos on a memory card and refuses to delete them from the card just to be safe.

it's $13 per CD. there may be a max of 200-250 photos per CD too. those kiosks are antiquated at best

you can always use another memory card, so I think she has the right idea.

The camera store in every park as a place to burn a cd.. My friend is paranoid so she burned a cd, had the extra card and downloaded them to my laptop. There are options

I'd just get another memory card. As someone else mentioned, they're really cheap now, and odds are good that someplace will be having them on sale between now and the time you go. Plus, she can use them for future trips

Actually, the cost of another memory card vs. a Disney-burned CD is very close...so look at it this way....

Reusable memory card or non-reusable CD....Hmmmmmm......to me, the choice is obvious....

The CD's in the parks can be quite expensive and time consuming.

They can do the transfer to CD at the camera stores - I've done this in the MK and at Epcot's camera store.

However, I have to agree that it would be wiser in the long run just to purchase an extra memory card -- and you'd be able to use it and reuse it for a long time, rather than the one time use of the CD.

Good luck!
