I was wondering if anyone signed up and received a Disney credit card for their trip. I went onto Disney's website and tried to sign up for one/tried to get one, but after taking forever and a day filling out everything, it said 'they' were unable to make a decision and something about me receiving some sort of notification in the mail ....anyone know what it all means?? Does it mean they aren't sending me one? Did I not 'qualify' for one? Not sure why I wasn't instantly accepted/qualified for one
i believe chase rarely gives an instant decision to anyone.
in general, what happens is the system accesses your credit report from one of the 3 main bureaus and scans it and automatically scores based on what it reads. if the score isn't definitive enough, it's flagged for manual review.
I hope you have better luck then we did. I applyed for the disney card last year and I was told I have to much credit. I have a Chase card but not disney. I assume its harder to get then others. I can get pretty much any other card. So I dont know why not the disney card.
well i did it too, if it was same as me i was deniedi was sad and mad , but it could be something different, the letter will tell you why you were denied.
We have a Disney card. I applied on line a couple of years ago with no problem..Hopefully everything will work out for you! I would call them if I were you!
I applied for one last fall and the sysytem told me I had to wait for a decision by mail. About 2 weeks later I got my card. Hope the same happens for you.

Same with us, it caught me off guard at first but a couple of weeks later it came in the mail...
I can't even remember what happened when I got mine. I'm a charter member, so, it was a while ago. I know for my AMEX card though, when I applied online for a "60 second decision", it told me it was unable to give a decision at that time and that I would receive an e-mail letting me know. I ended up getting approved, so, I'm hoping for you.
I've had it both ways. I was turned down the first time (okay, the first two times) but got that message on the third try and received my card a week or two later. So who knows. You'll get your decline notice earlier than you would get your card, or so went my experience, so it shouldn't be long before you know - either way.
