What Time Does it Get Dark in Early Dec.?

This is probably a weird question, but around the first week of December what time in the afternoon does it start getting dark at WDW? Our only MK day will be for MVMCP and we'll try to get in right at 4 p.m. Will it still be light enough out to get a daylight shot in front of the castle?

Later than here in PA. I was there last December and I can't remember the exact time, but it was somewhere in the neighborhood of between 5:30 and 6:00 p.m. We were waiting for the Osborne Lights at around that time. I think you should be okay for your photo.

Oh good, thanks!!! We're thinking of a Christmas card photo--although one in front of the castle lit up might be even better. Hmmmm, will have to think about it. Might be cutting it too close by the time I get home, edit my PP pics, get the CD in the mail then get the pics printed....

Guess I have a few months to think about it.

It gets dark around 5:30 in early December.
You may want to snap a shot in front of the castle at night, with the icicles.

I agree with the above! The Christams lights will be spectacular!

And, Heather, all considered, if you are a couple of days late for Christmas cards, I think everyone would understand! Just that you spent all the time and energy to have that special pic will mean the world!
