Room Requests

I am thinking about trying to get a particular building at ASMo when we go in September. Originally reservations started out at ASMu - Calypso building but when my Mickey Mail arrived - somehow things got changed to ASMo. Well, long story short, I figure that maybe due to this I could call or fax a couple of days before we go and ask for a particular building. Any suggestions on whether I would do better if I fax or phone in the request before we arrive? Thanks.

First I would call Disney to see why you were moved from ASMu to ASMo. At that time I would put in the request. But remember it is only a REQUEST...not a garentee that you will get it. I work at a motel and get it all the time that well i request it so i should get it. The way most companys (hotels/motels) look at requests are 1st what the request is and then by when the reservation was made. How fair would it be that someone requested say room 2323 yesterday to get it over some one that put the request in for it say last aug. I would make a gerneral request like bld one or 1st floor. and then maybe a day or two fax the request again.

Good luck!!

I Tried

I called the number on the DME/Mickey Mail and was told that there was nothing they could do for me because I booked through a TA. Guess I'll try the local route first thing on Monday.
