Last year on our trip we fell victim to heat rashes.
Some of us had a bearly visible , yet extremely itchy rash.
Others had a very bumpy red rash that wasn't itchy but looked as if it could be contagious.
Disney stocked nothing on its shelf for this, we had to make a trip to a drug store and ask the pharmacist what to buy.
He said that this was common due to the temperature / humidity change for us combined with the use of sunscreen.
Hydrocortisone worked great, and I am packing this on the next trip!!
You may want to try body glide. We bought ours at REI and it works great. It is a stick and you can apply to friction areas such as thighs or arms where clothes might rub, you can even use it on your feet for friction spots, etc.
You might also check to make sure that no one is allergic to the sunscreen you use. I had a bad case of red itchy bumps on one trip, and didn't find out until later that it was an allergic reaction.
I had huge blisters that bursted open and ran. It was very itchy & painful. It was sun poisening as they determined later. First aid could give you calamine lotion, but you're right, you cant buy a thing!!
I have gotten a really bad rash on my calfs just above my ankles when at Disney. The nurses at first aid told me it is quite common due to the heat from the payment and all the walking that you are doing. I used a combination of zinc oxide ointment and hydrocortizone and it worked very well. This last trip I used body glide in some areas and I wore capris to help with dissapating the heat. This helped alot, and I only got a small amount of rash on my legs at the end of the week. There really is nothing that is specific for something like that, you kind of have to experiment and see what works for you.
