We are going to the World in October and I got discount tickets from Undercover Tourist. They are 6 day hoppers. We are staying on DVC points at SSR.
Well, this past weekend, my wonderful DH gave me a DCL cruise for my bday!! with 3-4 days at AKL after the cruise (not on DVC points). We are going in March 2010.
Can I use my tickets in October to upgrade to AP's with my DVC discount? Where would we go to do this? And can I get TIW now, or do I have to wait until I change them into AP's? Where do you get the TIW card on site?
I believe you can upgrade at a ticket window when you are there in October and just pay the difference b/w the reg 6 day price and the AP price. I'm not sure on other questions.
You can take your 6 day ticket to any park ticket window to upgrade to an AP. Don't forget that if you are a DVC member you get a BIG discount on an AP. You can then take your AP to the nearest guest services location to purchase a TiW card. There are guest service locations and ticket windows at all four parks as well as Downtown Disney!
My dh just upgraded a 6 day park hopper from Undercover Tourist to an AP with the DVC discount in June. It was $111.11 to upgrade. that was BEFORE the price went up, but this will give you an idea of how much to expect to spend for upgrading. to your hubby on that DCL! That's totally awesome! Be sure to show your DVC card!
