hi! i was wondering if they did the opening ceremonies at magic kingdom during morning EMH and if they ever did anything special during evening EMH at any park? i know they don't do wishes or spectromagic or illuminations... thanks!

Here is a list (from All Ears) that lists AM and PM EMH attractions. You can see that shows like Voyage of the Little Mermaid at DHS and FOTLK at AK are open in the evening. There may be others but those are the ones I noticed on a quick read through.

I've read that yes, they do. But I haven't seen it for myself.

I think I remember once, a long time ago, that the show was carried out AFTER EMH started. So, the people who were already in the park did not see the show unless they went outside to see it. Since EMH is only open to resort guests they did the show right before normal park opening time.

It's been a long time since I did a rope drop, but I think I remember it being this way.

I was there almost 2 weeks ago and was at the MK right at 8 when EMH began, and I did not see any kind of "opening ceremony", although I may have missed it, because the train was in the station when we got there.

I have to say that I don't remember any special closing show for starting evening EMH, other than when Wishes ends the regular day.

(And DH and I never seem to it to make rope drops in the morning! )

oooh rope drops are the best!!!

I shouldn't say "never!" We did make it to 2 () during our 2008 trip. . .they are hard to do!

But the benefits of making it were very noticeable!
