If we go Thanksgiving week, how far in advance do I need to purchace airline tickets?

While I commonly will wait until about a month before most trips to finally buy airline tickets, major holidays are the big exception. Although I rarely take my own advice on this matter, I suggest you start shopping about 4-6 months out for the best choice of flights. Fare sales tend to leapfrog over the big holidays anyway.

Thanks Dave, that's what I was thinking. I usually don't do this part myself (a TA does it), but I'm trying something new! Trying to pinch a few pennys! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
