| renting an ECV for the week and gettting around Hi Everyone,
I know I have a few answers posted on a few of my threads but I wanted to ask for any advice.
We are still not sure what the resort plans will be like. We arehoping to upgrade to BC or BW we are now at the POFQ. I would really like to split stay so I can see both and have 2 different experiences.
My family (DH and 2 kiddies) are travelling with mom and aunt. Aunt has limited mobility due to RA. She can walk small distances but not to long.
I am going to try to post this on one post but might start another one.
Now, we are considering renting an ECV to the hotel.
First round of questions:
.....can you do a split stay with this?
.....can you get this in and out of a minivan easily??? (can i do it or would i need my husband to do it?)
She wants to drive to some of the parks (like animal kingdom, resorts for meals etc).
is it more convenient than renting in the parks? is it heavy?
Now for the next round:
It sounds like POFQ would be a good resort for her with short distances.
is there elevators to 2nd and 3rd floor that you can get an ecv in?
It sounds like OKW or SS villas would be too much hassel getting around for her?
How is boarwalk villas for moblility issues? Can you take the boat outside to epcot? We walked last time.
Thanks so much for all of your help!! |
