Refillable Mugs Now Good For Life of the Mug [April Fools!]
A post appeared on WDWinfo today about a new policy regarding the refillable mugs.

Rather than being "good" for your stay, they are now "good" for the life of the mug. There are a few catches. . . the mugs have an internal chip that keeps track of the number of refills per day, more refills can be purchased, etc.

Bottom Line--Disney wanted guests to enjoy their vacations and didn't want Cast Members referred to the "mug police."

I was so excited when I started reading this post. That was an excellent April Fools joke. I was almost halfway to the cabinet to grab my mug and throw it in my suitcase for my upcoming trip! Lol!

Well way back in the beginning when they first started the mugs, it was buy it and bring it back on your return trips. That was the selling point of the mugs then. We first got ours at CB back in the 90's and you were to come again and bring your mug.
