They are going up for DL as well so this news definitely has my parents and sisters rushing around to get tickets bought (since NONE of them have bought them yet for our August trip.)
How do you do a comparison of current prices with prices starting on the 12th?I'm thinking I will save more money by waiting to renew my AP in August than buying a new AP now, but can't figure out the numbers. Dd needs a new child AP and wanted to see what price difference would be if I waited until after the 12th.
So I just called and ordered tickets for our trip next week, this is mostly a Sea World trip, but are doing 1 day at MK, my only option was to pick them up at will call.. Where are the will call locations at MK?? At TTC only? Or at the gate after we exit the bus (we are staying at AKL)..
You can buy your APs now, and if you order them online or over the phone, you will be sent/emailed a voucher that will get activated once you visit Guest Services on property; i.e. after you arrive to start your vacation.
As far as renewals, if you're within 30 daysof your pass expiring, it might be a good idea to go ahead and renew since the renewal price, like all the new pass purchases, will increase on Sunday (per the Disney Blog -- see answer to Comment #19).
And for anyone wanting an idea of what to expect after Sunday, the Disney Blog also has the new ticket and AP prices posted as well.
I know like everyone else, this was absolute news to me -- and I was not expecting to have to make this purchase tonight! Oh well, it was a little exciting to get to do a bit more planning, even if it was forced on me.
If my numbers are right, it looks like Ages 3-9 tickets are increasing more than the adult tickets; for example, a 10-day park hopper is $34 more compared to a $30 increase for Adults. It's the middle of the night, so it's possible my numbers are wrong there. (But the math is right, thank you Excel! ha...)
