What exactly are the Premier AP benefits?

Hello,

Cool forums! I am going to disney world in Florida in early November with my two sisters and five year old nephew. We will be there for 8 days and want to get the dining plan.

I already have an disneyLAND premium annual passport. It gives me 10-15% off at most shops in Disneyland. If I upgrade to the Premier(both coasts) do I still get that same discount at disneyland? I read every webpage I can find on the disney site, but it does not say.
Plus, the Disney Premier Passport entitles you to exclusive Premium Passholder-level perks such as included parking, invitations to special events, members-only discounts and email updates filled with the latest Disney insider information
I really don't care about any of that stuff. I am mostly interested in keeping my discount when I am at Disneyland (and saving some money at disneyworld ). Can anyone who has a Premier share exactly what benefits they get?

The way I figure it, I could save about 85 bucks by upgrading to the premier, but I do not want to loose my discount. I was also wondering if I can get a discounted vacation package (hotel + dining) with the Premier? That might make it worth it.

$385 for 8 day park hopper + water park

$749 premier passport - $450 disneyland passport = $300 for an upgrade?

thanks so much,

Jen...

Welcome to the boards!

The way I am reading this part: "members-only discounts", I am lead to believe that yes, you will get AP discounts at both WDW and DL.

ETA: Just found confirmation It was mentioned in the Disney Parks Blog when the passes were being rolled out that the discounts on the Premier are just the same as the regular DL or WDW passes, only difference is no discounts on D23 memberships. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blo...port-unveiled/

Yes, holding the Premier Passport is like having the premium AP at both parks. We bought them in February and have used them heavily!

Cool, thanks for the info. I went and got the Premier yesterday. Now I am having trouble registering it on the disneyworld website. I tried to add a pass to my account, but the webpage will not accept the number on my pass. It worked fine on the disneyland site.
