Personally, I think the water there tasty very funky... It's not bad, not horrible, but it's enough that it would make me not want to drink it - which is not good for staying hydrated.

We use the Brita also. We take flavor packs too. We try to drink a lot of water but don't like the taste at WDW so these options help

Florida water is extreemly cholrinated so I dont like it. The filtered water bottles take that flavor out.

Filtered water also tastes better if you make coffee (or hot water for tea) in the room.
We run the tap water through the filter and then into the coffee maker.
