Just curious, do you need to have a filtered water bottle? Is this a personal preference or something that is recommended? Your thread really interests me and how many people have brought filtered bottles as well. I didn't think about bringing these, but I'm thinking I should after reading this. Thanks for posting.
Personally, I think the water there tasty very funky... It's not bad, not horrible, but it's enough that it would make me not want to drink it - which is not good for staying hydrated.

Florida water is extreemly cholrinated so I dont like it. The filtered water bottles take that flavor out.

Filtered water also tastes better if you make coffee (or hot water for tea) in the room.
We run the tap water through the filter and then into the coffee maker.
