I love All Star Music, it is my fave of the values. I have never had the problems with the buses at All STars, the only resort I had an issue was actually at Pop.
We stay at Music every year and love it. We did two nights at the Swan this year too, and decided that, although it was lovely, we'd just as soon stay at Music for half the cost. You have access to all three food courts and all six pools. The last McD's on property is right outside the gates. Plenty of activities near the pool too, including movies in the evening.
The bus sharing thing is overblown; during busy times, there will be dedicated buses going to each of the All Stars. Sharing occurs--and makes sense--when buses would otherwise go only partially full. If you go at a busy time of year, you will wait for buses and/or stand no matter where you stay.

Have stayed at POP and AS Sports and have never really had a problem with buses there. The bus sharing thing is a little blown out of proportion. Sometimes the buses went to the other 2, sometimes they didn't. They were always full in the evening coming back to the resort. SRO, but that happened at both resorts. In fact, the worst bus route we took was from DTD to Boardwalk for dinner. It made 6 stops and took over 40 minutes, with boardwalk being the last stop. Almost missed the ressie. Otherwise there isn't a lot of difference in the rooms, except for colors and theming.
