For young kids, I'd go for the Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's.

Via Napoli/Tutto Italia. The food is excellent, and the waiters are good looking.
Liberty Tree Tavern lunch. Pot roast/Thanksgiving dinner/Colony salad! So hard to choose! Then end with Ooey Gooey toffee cake and you have to roll me out of there.
Chef Mickey's breakfast: The buffet is great with lots of variety and the character interaction includes the fab five.

Honorable Mention: Tusker House, Whispering Canyon

I love O'Hana with young kids for a character meal that isn't a buffet. It is family style at your table so you don't have to get up every time a kid wants more food! It is relaxing, the food and charcters come to you.

Consider Teppan Edo. DS loves this place, with the food being cooked right in front of him...

Boma -- they have chicken nuggets and mac and cheese for the little ones, and more interesting fare for the adults. Plus it's a good excuse to visit the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Dinner at 'Ohana -- lots of fun with coconut races, limbo contests, hula lessons. When she was 6, DD announced it was her favorite meal at WDW. Even over character meals and dining with the princesses.

I agree! Love the buffet choices and character interaction at Tusker House (Donald's Safari Breakfast). My two also love the Sci Fi Dine In Theater at HS (fun atmosphere and you get to sit in cars like you're at a drive in movie), and Crystal Palace for any meal (gotta love Pooh and friends!).

For my two girls it's Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Chef Mickey.

Don't be afraid of Akershus, the food for dinner was excellent and the cold buffett was a hit with the kids. And of course the Princesses.

Chef Mickey was just a fun time for all.

O'Hana for dinner without a doubt and we also love Crystal Palace for breakfast especially if you get an early time before the park is open, you can walk down Main Street and take pictures with hardly any people, plus the breakfast is very good

O'hanas and Chef Mickey's are eveyone's favorite...aside from eating at the castle...our family can't go to Disney without booking O'hana's and Primetime at HS. O'hana's has the best food and we love Stich at the breakfast! Primtime is so fun because of the great waite staff...you have to experience it!
