I can’t believe it’s been 20 years of marriage to my handsome husband!! He has promised me a trip for our Anniversary present and all I have to do is plan it. I haven’t planned a WDW trip since 2008 and I’m seriously out of practice. We are thinking a Deluxe Resort. Originally, I was thinking of WL, but have also considered YC or BWI due to their proximity to EPCOT and HS. Late June, 4 days, 3 nights. I need to call and talk with Disney Travel to see if it’s better to add the Dining or perhaps just do Club level?? Thoughts or any recommendations are VERY much appreciated! I’ve never been overwhelmed in planning until now!! Yikes!
I'd do some pricing up and see what's in the budget, then sit down and discuss which resort appeals to you both the most for what you plan on doing. deciding!
Happy Anniversary is it just the 2 of you going or are the boys going on the trip as well? That would make a difference of where you could stay with 5 of you. I am thinking since you mentioned Epcot instead of MK for the kids that you will be at Epcot more so maybe it will be a trip for just 2. It was fun to stay at BCV a few years ago for being able to just walk to Epcot. WL is great getting to MK if the kids are going but with 5 would be an issue unless you stay at Villa's in a larger room.

Happy Anniversary! Sounds like it will be a wonderful trip
I would recommend BWI if you would like to be in the Epcot area. It is a really beautiful resort and it's very enjoyable to stroll along the boardwalk and take in the sights. We were surprised by how much we enjoyed BWI as we usually stay in the MK area, but we will definitely stay there again. I would love to stay there just me and DH
I am tempted to see what your final plans are...we will be married 18 years this month, and I think this would be a great 20th!! For me, I would like the BC/YC since we love to walk over to the WS at Epcot so much...but also would consider the WL--my hubby LOVES that place!! Either area would be great for me...
As for food..I would be inclined to go Club Level...eat our breakfast there for sure and maybe one other meal each day-depending on what you are wanting to accomplish that day. For me, I can hardly eat an entire meal on the dining plan, plus the dessert that comes with it...so if we could have CL I would prob want to just eat there the majority of the trip, with one possibly two meals elsewhere...make sure you get the ADRs you want soon....the availability at this point may help you decide if the Dining Plan is even worth it.
Keep us posted and Happy 20th a little early!!!!
