gift cards

If I buy a gift card in an affordable amount from DisneyStore.com now, can I add more to it somewhere before my trip? Like a mall Disney Store? The more I thought about this, the more I became confused.....overthinking again!!?? Thanks for anyone who can answer this one....

Yes. You can add as much as you want up to $1,500 at a Disney store (the ones in the mall).
You cannot add money at Walgreens or Wegmans or other places that SELL Disney gift cards.

My DH just came home with 2 gift cards from the Disney store so I can pay the trip off tonight. He said they no longer allow anything higher than $1000. on the cards you buy at the store.
