Offsite Timeshare/Hotel: Hilton vs Sheraton vs Marriott

Taking the family down to Disney again in June. Prior two trips we stayed on-site, figuring it would be easier with young kids (will be 7, 4 and 2) and we didn't have a car.

This time we are going to drive down and want to try to hit some other area attractions while in Orlando, so we want to stay offsite.

I've heard great things the Marriott, Sheraton, and Hilton resort properties. We can stay at Sheraton Vistana Villages or HGV I-Drive for similar prices, or at Marriot Cypress Harbour for considerably more. I typically opt for Hilton properties due to my membership status there and to accumulate points.

Anyone have any thoughts on these three properties, or maybe recommend something else we should look at?

Thanks!

We've stayed at the Vistana & Cypress Harbour & enjoyed both very much. We had a great unit & lots of amenities. Everything was clean & the service was good. I would stay there again. I can't comment on a HGV club, as we've never stayed at one before. IMHO, you can't go wrong with the major hotel companies. It's the independent ones that concern me more. Happy Planning!!

I've stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation Club (last summer) and Marriott Grande Vista this month. We preferred the Hilton. Nicer rooms. (I'm a Marriott owner elsewhere). But either would be good.

When we go to WDw, we stay on site, but going other places I stay at either of these 3 chains, they are pretty consistant.

Thanks for the replies. I'll probably go with the Hilton Grand Vacation Club on I-Drive since it seems like they are all pretty comparable.
