DOES ANYONE KNOW IF NEXT SUMMER THEY WILL BE OFFERING FREE DISNEY DINING PLAN WITH WDW STAY? IF SO, COULD YOU TELL ME WHAT MONTHS OR WEEKS THEY WILL BE OFFERING IT ! ALSO, WHEN DO THEY START TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR NEXT SUMMER? SO ANXIOUS TO BOOK!

We booked Room-Only August of 2011, for our trip for Sept. 2012. In Sept. we booked the whole Package. We did not know if we would get free dining until Feb. of 2012. So it is all a waiting game.

You can book a room-only reservation now and upgrade to a regular package once 2013 package rates come out (which usually happens in August).

However, IF there is any kind of discount, Free Dining or otherwise (they are definitely never guaranteed but have been pretty reliable in the last couple of years) those aren't released until a few months in advance. The current Free Dining offer, for stays this August 25-Sept. 29, was announced on March 1st.

Once you have booked, you can always have the discount/offer applied to your package.

And, just to add, if you're like me and like "seeing" what the trend has been for when Disney has released the discounts and promos for the last few years, checkout the historical discounts information available over at Mousesavers.com.

It's a really good way to visually see when you might expect to see an announcement for next year because, as Sarah mentioned, it's not a guarantee that free dining, or any promo, will continue to be offered from year-to-year. But you never know!
