I have a few questions if anyone has done it: Are you guaranteed a table? Also, what time do you have to arrive? Is it possible to see the parade and then go to the terrace? Just not sure of the logistics of it all. Overall, is it a worthwhile experience?
Thanks
Yes, you are a guaranteed a table. It truly doesn't even matter where it is because everyone goes to stand by the railing anyway. We were able to leave to see the parade and then come back in, but since they are serving the desserts during that time and they are quickly cleared away, you may want to wait for a different day to go see the parade. You can see bits of it, but not very well. It really is worth it. We loved it.
You will be led to a reserved table just for your party. Times are staggered to keep everyone from showing up at the same time, but we got in line about 20 minutes before our scheduled seating time, and were seated in only 10 minutes.
I wouldn't plan on leaving to see the parade the same night you are doing this party, as you will definitely miss out on the desserts. Everyone can see the fireworks, even if you are not down front; just step forward toward the railing--but beware! Some of the CMs are very efficient and you may find your table cleared when you return.

You are so right. That's what happened to us last year. We came back to an empty table. I almost cried, lol.
