That is what it feels like, especially when you have to go on a plane.
It is 9:03pm here in PA- and I am tired. I worked for the last 3 days and I am FINALLY ready to let Disney take me away. I need this Vacation to make my brain feel better.
Tonight at dinner my youngest son , who is 15, says to me , "Mom what if we miss our flight?" I said, "we will not miss the flight". He said, "what if you oversleep like you do for the bus?" I said, "if we miss the flight I will kill you" (LOL). I also said, "I will be getting up early the alarm will be waking me up... before 3am". So as anxious as I was this morning to print our boarding passes and I was awake WAY before the alarm went off. I have a funny feeling that I will be awake WAY before the alarm wakes me up..... so..then he says, "I guess you want me to go to bed right after dinner" I said, it is too early and besides you wont be able to go to bed when it is light out" I said it would be nice if you were in bed by 10pm. He replied, "that is only 5 hours" I said, "that is why our flight is 3 hours, so we can take a nap"......
Here is what my youngest had to ask me on Monday night right after dinner: "When are we leaving for Disney?" I opened my mouth and said, "really?" OMG! I shook my head!
and to make matters worse my oldest, who is 19, had not packed when I got home today at 4pm. I was angry because he just doesn't understand what it takes to be ready.... GRRRRRRR! He had 2 hours before I got home.. and instead played video games. They just don't get it....!
Thanks for allowing me to vent...... I promise to do a trip report and other reports..like what does a Dole Whip really taste like.... : )
I hope that you and your family have a magical time at the world

My ex-hubby would never pack until right before we left. Once, we even missed a flight because of his lack of preparedness. Luckily it was only to Seattle to see his family and not to WDW, or I might have seriously hurt him!
My only trip to WDW in Dec 2007, I had a friend taking us to the airport, and she forgot to set her alarm when she got home. I was awakened at 6:50 AM by my nephew who was house-sitting, and our flight was at 7! I totally freaked out, because all our luggage was in her trunk where we put the night before to be a little more prepared. My DN took us to the airport, where I tearfully explained the situation and the wonderful man at the Airtran counter put us on the next flight no charge! Then I just had to get hold of my friend to get our luggage. It was a very drama and tear filled day.
That said, I'm sure everything will work out. You will have a great and magical time with your family. Safe journey!!
