Yes we did. At the time we paid when we got there that was two years ago. I think now you have to pay a few days before but you should be able to pay with them.
We already paid for our Sept. trip prematurely but that is another story for another day!! Just be aware someone at DVC told us we had to pay for the meal plan at the 180day mark when we made resssies and that was not true so be aware!
Yes we used a gift card to buy the dining plan. I believe if you have multiple cards though you need to call and do it,don't think you can do it online
