2013 Question [when are the "seasons?"]

I know it is posted somewhere but I can't find it. I am wanting to know the dates for the value, peak, seasonal etc times so I can see where our vacation might fit in. Hope that makes sense.
Thanks for the help.

Mousesavers.com has the resort seasons listed over on their site; however, they don't have the 2013 seasons listed yet. But hopefully this can help you predict those for 2013.

ADDED: However, here is the "seasonal" guide for when you can expect higher or lower crowds as well!

The seasons are getting more complicated each year. One thing to watch for is that the seasons may be different for different resort categories (Value different than Deluxe, for example).

I was just thinking the same thing, Dave. The categories are more and more categorized.

This year they were categorized by resort type then the seasons were broken down: "Value and Moderate Resorts", "Deluxe, Deluxe Villas and Ft. Wilderness Cabins", "Ft. Wilderness Campsites" and then "Holiday".

The "seasons", lowest price to highest, are now:

Value
Value II
Fall
Regular
Regular II
Summer
Pre-Holiday
Peak
Holiday

That said . . . I haven't seen anything for 2013 seasons broken down yet but I would suspect that they will be out around early fall.

Wow! I didn't realize that they had gotten so complicated. I guess that is what happens when you can only go a certain time in the year. I haven't really thought about the times of year because I have only had one time. But now that school is getting out way earlier I was hoping to find a cheaper time to go. So I guess I will just have to wait and see.

Thanks everyone!

Does anyone know if the dates have been announced for the 2013 Flower & Garden Show. Planning a trip with the "cousins"! What fun that will be!

I don't get these "seasons". Last week I priced a resort stay for one week in March and for one week in April. I used the same deluxe resort and the same days of the week (Tuesday through Tuesday) for my search and the price was lower (by a few hundred dollars) in April than in March. These weeks would both fall into the "peak" category from one of the previous posts. This is very confusing!
