Holidays around the world questions
Hey guys,
I'm very excited about my first December trip to the world this year. I stumbled across information about the holidays around the world Storytellers performances. They look interesting. We do not have children .... Do you think as an adults only party we should out these on the to do list? When do the times etc get announced?

DH and I are an adult-only party and I have yet to find anything on property, other than the Princess Tea Parties and such , that is not adult-friendly.
The storytellers are out in front of the country pavilions at certain times of the evening and tell the story of the holidays as celebrated in the country and little kids usually run up and sit in front of the platform/stage area, but you can find a place to sit/stand nearby and listen. We usually have a dessert or yummy adult-friendly () drink in hand and it's definitely a nice way to get into the holiday spirit while over in Epcot.
My best advice would be to not be shy to try, attend, or watch most things in Disney just because you don't have kids with you. We try to experience everything at least once so we can say we've tried it, especially since who knows when the next trip will actually be with any little ones in tow.

Lol sorry Disney researching tonight .... Posted one question and thought of another!
Excellent .... Loving the dessert idea!
Glad to hear its not totally child focused.... I know it sounds silly but I worry about being the only adult somewhere. I have been to ohana character breakfast and absolutely loved it, so I shouldn't worry really I guess.
Thanks again Kelly

As a family that is now composed of 4 adults, I can confidently say, Enjoy the Storytellers!! We certainly did on our trip in Dec, and several of them interacted just as freely with us as they did the kids. I don't think anyone looks askance at adults-only groups in WDW, at least not that I can tell. Besides, who cares if they do! We wear matching shirts, Mickey ears, eat at character meals, pose for pictures with the characters, and gladly give/get hugs!
Hubby and I went that time of year before we had kids. We loved all of the story telling, in fact I saw alot of kids get bored and want to move on. We have nover felt funny or silly at WDW doing anything without kids.
Enjoy the storytellers! There's nothing about them that's kids only.
I think the times may be on the parks times guide, so as we get closer folks may be able to give you a better idea of when each one will be. We love them, but have never tried to catch them all in one day.
Oh I totally understand the initial feeling of, "Are we going to be the only ones that don't have a booster seat at their table?" However, again, we found that even if we picked a day where that was pretty much true for whatever character meal we were at, we never felt out of place with the characters, etc. They were so playful and attentive even though we were *ahem* "older."
Honestly, I think they appreciate having us adult "fans" because we don't cry as much when they approach the table....well usually!
I loved the different Holiday stories. I don't think we saw all of them so i am hoping to catch them all this christmas. We didn't make a point of seeing them all in one day, it would happen that we are walking by and it would be starting so we would stay to listen.
The holiday storytellers are happy to see all ages--and fascinating for everyone. Don't miss the man in Morocco; he is not "Christmas" themed, but still very worth the time to listen. Then treat yourself to a coffee and pastry at Tangierine Cafe!
