In the past, I have paid my deposit for the trip and then sent a little money each month to Disney (I loved getting that little email thanking me for my payment!) until it was paid off. This year is a bit different. The money has been sitting in the savings account (drawing two or three cents interest each month!).
The plan is about a week before our 45 day mark to pay off our trip (and part of my son and his family's trip).
Our PIF day is Oct 9th. I would rather go to Sam's and get the Disney gift cards in the $100 denomination and get the $10 bonus Disney STORE gift certificate instead. That will give me close to $400 extra in Christmas money.
Does anyone know when Sam's will be getting in their gift cards for the holiday promotion? The manager at our store has been able to confirm they will get them this year, but has no idea when they will come in. He 'thinks' it is sometime in October , but is not sure.
With my luck they will arrive in my store on Oct 10!
