I just want to say thank you for everyone being so nice on these boards. I just logged off and removed the app of another board. The posters were so mean and judgemental. I was scared to even ask a simple question....this is the only board I will ever need to plan my Disney trips!
I feel exactly the same as you. I have actually met some of the people on these boards including Jennifer and Dave. Everyone is so nice and although we each have our own opinions I have never seen it get nasty. I love this community of people!!!! I'm so lucky to be a part of it!!!!!
This community helps me to extend my Disney bubble! When I'm here people are nice they are helpful and they are informative in a good way. Kind of like cast members in training
While I have read other forums, I'm so glad to be part of this one where people are nice, understanding, compassionate, etc. Discussions may get heated at times but I don't ever recall things getting nasty. A few times it might have been close but we have (IMO) wonderful moderators who either get the threads back on track or close them down completely to avoid getting to that point.
I have to agree that the PassPorter boards have the nicest, most helpful people of all the discussions groups I have seen. Jennifer and Dave have set the tone, and having had the pleasure of meeting them both, I can say that what you see is what you get: friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable folks who are happy to share their love of Disney with others. That they produce not only PassPorter the Book, but also foster a community of Disney friends world-wide, is a gift to all of us who gather here.
