We are approved for 2013! vacation
We booked our Oct vacation and hoped it worked with the girls school schedule. Just talked to the principal they will approve the girls vacation for next school year. So all that;s left. Money to grow on trees so I can buy airfare this will be our first Oct visit.

I still can't believe in the U.S. that you have to get approval to take your kids out of school!!!! I take mine out whenever I want.

Anyway, have a great time planning for your trip!!! October is a great time to go!!!

Each school is different. I don't have to get approval for my DD. We would just have to notify teachers so she could get her assignments.

Our school district allows 5 days for family vacation anything after that is not excused. After 3 days of unexcused absence they turn you into the court system. She is allowing us to take a 1/2 of a day additional. So now I just need to get a decent airfare for around 3pm.

Yeah that's exactly what we do!!! Like in may we will let his teachers know and get work for him to do.
