I read on another board where people were saying that was the only way to get fast pass + & it was not for everyone. mostly for people staying at certain resorts.
Does anyone have any info?

I did online check in through the new website for next week but got nothing on fast pass+. We are staying at ASMusic. I read somewhere that I believe Boardwalk was the first roll out.
They haven't rolled out that feature for any of the resorts yet. And as mentioned above, it's rumored that guests of Boardwalk Inn (and maybe Villas) will be the first to use the newest features starting in late Feb or so.
Currently:
At the parks, resort guests with tickets on their KTTW card now have separate entrances to use that are much faster than those using other ticketing types because this is the smallest group. If your keys are on your KTTW card you will be pointed toward a separate bag check and the turnstiles are the new RFID ones that will scan your card.
All other guests go to the regular bag checks and the old turnstiles. We were part of this group this past weekend because we were using our Annual Passes, even though we were resort guests (POR).
Thanks HiddenMickey for the info.
We will be staying at AOA & have KTTW card.
I have only been to DMK one time, which is the best way to go - the Ferry or the Monorail?, 2011 we rode the Monorail in but came back on the ferry, we really enjoyed the ferry. On our first day at MK, we have a adr at Cinderella's table at 8:30 AM, How early will they let us in? It will not be a day that has extra magic hrs.

We usually do the ferry since it holds more people at one time. When you get off the boat, don't go to the usual bag check stations, walk up to the right toward the bus stops and look to your left toward the MK entrance, you should see a CM that will let you in the resort guest entrance. You should be able to enter some time after 8am if you let them know you have an reservation for breakfast.
Key to the World (KTTW) is what is currently used for room keys at the resorts. Tickets, dining, and charging privileges can be added to them. Later this year these will be replaced with MagicBand arm bands that do the same thing.

Thank you. That is what I thought it was. Just thought I would double check!
Thanks HiddenMickey for the info.
We were there in 2011 on a Make A Wish Trip & we did not know anything.
