Anyone been to Star Wars Weekends? About This Page:

I'm so excited! I just saw in the AllEars newsletter that Star Wars weekends is in early June when we will be there. I live with two children and one overgrown child who are die hard Star Wars fans (even more than me as a Disney fan!) Any suggestions, opinions, or observations about this exciting event that might help me out? Now I'm going to have to rearrange my plans to fit around this completely. [img]graemlins/dizzy.gif[/img]

My Dh and I were there last May. Lotsa fun! Lotsa great character interaction -- I even have a fantastic photo of my DH with Darth Vader. Darth Vader also has him in a "choke hold" pose!! [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]
There were special limited edition pins for sale, etc. Some guests come dressed as their favorite characters. THere were face-painting booths where you could pay to have your face done as a character -- like Queen Amidala or Darth Maul.
My DH is a HUGE Star Wars fan (only 2nd to Disney), so he sooo enjoyed this event.
We will be back again this year -- for the kickoff weekend, and he cannot wait.
