Looks more and more like our next visit to the World may be for a long Thanksgiving weekend in addition to our plans for February 2004. We had booked a week at our timeshare in Williamsburg for Thanksgiving week. A friend said, "Can't believe you guys don't keep on going to Florida...you're already half way there!" That started the wheels turning. When I approached dh with the idea of catching the Auto Train from DC to FL, plus the fact we already have our APs (purchased in February) the wheels started turning for him too. Thanks SO much to the person who passed along the Amtrak site on Ebay. If we are able to get a a 4 tix plus car Auto Train pkg from there for a good price, it will make it all possible. I'll take all the prayers and pixie dust anyone wants to send! We'll keep you posted!

We probably wouldn't even consider it if it wasn't for the APs. dh may need to get a couple more days off from work though. Wish we didn't live so far away!

Where abouts in NY are you? I'm thinking downstate, as it takes about 24 hours to drive home to Rochester from WDW.

I'm hating my APs right about now - that new package would have been quite a deal for us. I'm afraid that by the time they release 'room only' codes there won't be anything left...(if they do release "room only" at all) [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img]

Debbie, this question is a little off track but have you received the Mickey Monitor yet? We got our APs in Feburary also, and have never gotten the magazine, or in fact, anything at all related to them. [img]images/icons/confused.gif[/img]
