Disney Reward Dream Dollars

I got a Disney Visa card when my family decided to go on our next trip to WDW in Oct 2004 and will have Disney Reward Dream dollars to spend which I would like to use for meals to offset some of the expense while down there. Has anyone used the Disney Reward Dream Dollars card yet and if so how did it go?

Re: Disney Reward Dream Dollars

We used our rewards card in May while in Disney. It went great! No problems to report. We did the same thing, used it for a meal or 2. Have fun

Re: Disney Reward Dream Dollars

I had one that I transferred $251 in reward dollars to. Since it's like a "gift card" that doesn't require a signature to use it when making purchases, I decided to keep it in the room safe and use it to pay off the charges that I had accumulated to my room key account. The CMs at guest services in the hotel where quite familiar with handling the reward cards.

I highly recommend using the Disney Visa to get these rewards. (As long as you pay off the card regularly and don't offset the rewards with high interest charges!!)

Re: Disney Reward Dream Dollars

I used mine when I went last October, and as it was still fairly new, some of CMs weren't familiar with it. When I'd hand it to them to pay, they'd look at me like I was a nut. Then I'd explain it was a giftcard and how I got the money..they'd run it through...and I'd be off.

Been putting everything on the card lately while it's double point time to rack up some points for my trip in October!

Re: Disney Reward Dream Dollars

We used them last Sept. When we checked in at CBR we gave them to the CM to put toward anything we charged to our room while there. We had no problem redeeming them.
