Ticket upgrade ?

Hey! I posted earlier about adding a day to what's left of a 10 day ticket, and I think I found a solution! On our very first trip to WDW we happened to be in AK on Sept. 11th and received free 1 day 1 park tickets to make up for the parks closing. I'd totally forgotten about them until my daughter said something about them this afternoon. Only thing is we had recently given some of them to a friend who was on a tight budget, so I know they honored them earlier this year, but the only 1 we have left is a child's ticket! I know from past post reading that other visitors have paid the difference if their children have aged up, so that's what I'm hoping to do. But what do you think they'll give me credit for...a child's ticket price from 2001 or now? There's no expiration on the back and no date as to when it was issued as they were just mass passing them up for the number of people in your party, and there were a LOT of people all leaving at once! I have hopes on improving my July trip here but don't want to get my hopes up! Ruth

Re: Ticket upgrade ?

I thought I read somewhere that to upgrade from a child to adult, they just did it, at no cost to you. When we had to change DS's plus left on an old park hopper, they just gave us a ticket with 4 plusses for an adult and it didn't cost us a thing.

Good Luck
Paula

Re: Ticket upgrade ?

if it costs, it will be the difference between a child's ticket now and an adult's ticket now. They treat tickets as if they were bought on the day they are used.
