AAA discount--room only or good on packages???? About This Page:

I'm starting to get in the planning mode for my upcoming March 2006 trip and that got me to wondering--is the AAA discount good for room only bookings or can you use it on packages as well? I'm seriously considering the Magic Your Way Dining Plus package but would like to take advantage of the AAA room rates. Can I do both?

You can use it on packages as well, but you must go through a AAA rep for that.

No problem. I acutally used my AAA discount on my room only reservation for Dec 2006 since no other discount is available for that time yet. Atleast this way, I'm saving what I can now.

We just did a AAA package. Be sure to compare the
prices, sometimes AAA is the best & other times Disney may
have the better price!

I just booked a full package with AAA with Dining Plan included. It turned out to be just a hair cheaper than I could get with Disney. Essentially, I got it a few dollars cheaper and with trip insurance thrown in.

For room only Disney can give you the AAA discount but you'll have to use AAA for the package. Have fun planning.

You have to go through AAA to get their discount on a package, but they have some good deals so it's worth it
