No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Jeesh, our summer travel plans have been something like a soap opera. Had to cancel the road trip to FL thanks to workshops. Rescheduled for awhile, thinking I wouldn't have a job offer before August. Had planned to go to Boston for the Madonna show.. but then got offered a teaching position (yay!)- workshop on those days too. Still had Washington in the works but after I returned from WDW last week- DH began mentioning he really could use a Disney break and wished we could go sooner than December. A few phone calls later and a slight change in the dates and yippee- we are going to Disney in a month!! I have POR booked for now and was able to snag a few ADR's. The boys still think we are headed north and I am determined to keep our new plans a total surprise. We are flying into Tampa (was alot cheaper than Orlando) so I think it's possible to keep it a surprise almost, if not until we get there. Once we are on the road, for sure it will come to light- I have habitual sign readers in my brood. Should I let them just figure it out on their own? Any ideas on just how to clue them in? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions! I will keep it quiet, I will keep it quiet. (I don't have a good track record for stuff like this)

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Sounds like you can use a Disney Fix How about a home pizza party, making the crust into a mickey head šoš & maybe watch a Disney movie. Another idea would be spagetti & meatballs (placing the meatballs in the center of the spagetti šoš) & then you could do some Dinsey stuff such as watch a movie, play a game, make a countdown chain etc... I bet they will be able to figure it out with the šoš's I love surprises

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Well, how about making up a treasure map with little clues. "X" marks the spot--WDW! It would be in keeping with the whole POTC theme!

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Oh, I could never keep it a secret! I am a bigger kid when it comes to Disney than my DD! Hopefully you come up with something fun. I would probably just blurt it out! Amy

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... How exciting! I too am trying to keep the next WDW trip a secret so here are some that you can! I don't know how you can tell them. We plan on just getting to the airport and seeing if DD can figure out what is going on or giving her some kinda revealing "gift" for her to figure it out at the airport!

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Congrats on the job and the trip to Disney!!!! I stink at keeping secrets like that, mainly because I am so excited I have to share it, but !

Re: No Madonna but rather a mouse...... Good luck... it's so hard. I told Ryan in the airport, he was so excited and it was so much fun watching his face. I'm going to have to check out flying into Tampa, saving money is a great thing.
