Advice for booking a vacation for next summer I'm looking for advice on how to save money on our vacation for next summer. There are a lot of variables. Such as, we are now a family of six. The youngest will be 1 1/2 next summer. So, we've thought that this means that we should try to stay at a deluxe hotel which can accomodate 5 plus a portable crib. Resorts that we're considering are Animal Kingdom lodge, Beach Club, Contemporary and the Polynesian (again). We haven't bought our annual pass - but are considering getting them for all of us - so we could go back the following spring break or summer. Is it a good idea to make reservations now? When do annual pass rates come out for July/August? AAA rates? What would people do here? We got an incredible package the last time we went because the Disney Visa card. But there hasn't been any good deals through that lately.

Re: Advice for booking a vacation for next summer First of all, to the boards! You've definetely come to the right place to get answers to all of your questions. That said, I can't help you with all of your questions in this post , but I can tell you that the Disney Travel Co. and AAA have rates out now for 2007. They just came out on Monday, and I got rates from AAA and Karen at yourmagicaljourneys.com. AAA was ever so slightly lower than Karen, but so far Karen has given me incredible service/responses!! Hopefully others can help you with hotels. I think someone mentioned a while back about suites at the values too. Can someone help me here, am I losing it or did I remember correctly? Anyway, good luck and have fun planning!!

Re: Advice for booking a vacation for next summer I would book a trip for now and then keep my eyes and ears open as it gets closer to your trip. Remember, you might get the free dining if they continue with that program next year so I would plan my trip to fall in that time period.
