Re: Richard Petty I remember reading a trip report where the husband did the Richard Petty Driving Experience and loved it. He even debated on adding a couple extra hours (or laps, I can't remember which) that were offered to the participants at the end of the session, for another chunk of money, but turned it down because of the expense. I wish I could remember where I read it. -HiddenMickey

Re: Richard Petty I sure would like to try it. My son and I got hooked on NASCAR this past season. Mine "18" won the season. My sons "24" did not do so well this year. Maybe I can budget the Richard Petty Driving School for January 2002. ------------------ Don OS 4/90, BC 2/95, WL 1/97, Cont 1/98&1/99, Poly 12/99, DxL 2/00, CBR 12/00

Re: Richard Petty Hey Hidden, that was us!! DH and BiL did the Driving experince when we where there in Sept. They loved it and definetly would do it again. It was pricey, but well worth the money. The only I regret is missing it, they were done before we could get the kids over there to watch. A definite do, Cathyw. Kristen ------------------ ![]()

Re: Richard Petty I gave my Dad the driving experience for a Christmas present. I have never seen him so excited about anything. He has even taken his photos up to the bench and shown the judge in open court. He talks about it everywhere and 5 of his friends wives have already signed them up. He took the Rookie driving course and did a ride along as well. My mom was there and took a million pictures, but I had the video camera at the afternoon parade with my kids. Big regret. It is definitely worth the money if you have a Nascar fan. There is a Disney Club discount and maybe even an AP discount as well. Good luck. Hope it goes well. Lea
